Buller Ski Lifts (BSL)
Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) is a private company that owns and operates Mt Buller's lifting network. The network consists of 22 lifts and BSL also operates our thriving Ski & Snowboard School. BSL employs 800 staff including a large seasonal workforce each winter from across Australia and around the world.
With over 300 hectares of skiable terrain, there is something to appeal to all levels of ability. Our runs range from the wide beginner’s slopes of Bourke St and Burnt Hut Spur, to the challenge of our black runs like Bull Run and Federation.
Our resort has incredible snow making facilities including four Techno Alpine Snow Factories, which are able to produce snow up to 15 degrees celsius! We also have hundreds of snow guns spread throughout the resort in case nature doesn’t quite come to the party. This snow making capability allows Mt Buller to guarantee skiing and riding from King's Birthday holiday weekend (early June) each year.
We encourage all our guests who rent equipment to purchase a lift and lesson product (per person). This also requires a B-Tag. This is for the safety of all Mt Buller guests. It is best to purchase online prior to arrival in the resort to make things easier on day 1 of your snow holiday.
